The living and dining pavilion is open on three sides and features a soaring ‘alang alang’ thatched roof supported by coconut wood pillars above a cream terrazzo floor. Ceiling fans and gentle breezes keep this area cool; it is furnished with a turquoise-cushioned sofa and chairs, boat-shaped lamps, and a glass topped circular table. The pavilion also integrates an open-plan kitchenette, for the use of the guests on those occasions when they might not require waiter/waitress service from the main Tamu Seseh service-kitchen.
